What is Indiantown Marine Center?
Indiantown Marine Center (IMC) is a marine facility on Florida's Okeechobee Waterway offering vessel haul-out, dockage, dry storage, workspace, hurricane storage, and access to independent marine service professionals. The facility is designed to support safe, clean, and efficient vessel maintenance, repair, and storage.
What are your operating hours?
The yard is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

What size vessels can IMC accommodate?
IMC operates two Marine Travelifts. The 250-ton Travelift accommodates vessels up to 140 feet in length, 35 feet in beam, and 10 feet in draft. The 100-ton Travelift accommodates vessels up to 80 feet in length, 25 feet in beam, and 8 feet in draft. Final acceptance is subject to vessel configuration and IMC review.
Do I need an appointment for a haul-out or launch?
Yes. Advance scheduling is recommended, particularly during hurricane season and busy maintenance periods. Contact the office or submit an Estimate Request with complete vessel dimensions and requested dates.
Can IMC haul sailboats, trawlers, catamarans, and commercial vessels?
Potentially, provided the vessel is compatible with the applicable Travelift, slip, draft, beam, air-draft, blocking, and handling requirements. Submit full vessel specifications so the team can evaluate the request.
Is pressure washing available after haul-out?
IMC provides workspace for professional pressure-washing services. Confirm the requested service and any contractor arrangements when requesting an estimate.
Does IMC offer short-term and long-term storage?
Yes. IMC provides dry-storage options for vessels of different sizes and types. Pricing and placement are determined through an estimate and may be based on vessel length, beam, duration, and required space.
Is dockage available?
Yes. IMC provides daily, monthly, quarterly and seasonal dockage space subject to availability, vessel requirements, and the applicable estimate and agreement.
Is shore power available?
Shore-power needs are collected on the Estimate Request form. Availability and connection requirements should be confirmed with IMC for the specific vessel and location.
How is pricing determined?
Services are billed according to the schedule of rates described in the customer's estimate and governed by the applicable Dockage and Service Agreement and supporting documents.
Does IMC perform all vessel repairs directly?
IMC operates as a contractor yard. Customers generally contract directly with third-party marine professionals for repair, maintenance, management, and specialty services.
Does IMC maintain a contractor directory?
Yes. IMC provides a directory of approved contractors that customers may contact directly for vessel services.
Can I bring my own contractor?
Yes, provided the contractor receives IMC approval before work begins and follows all facility rules, insurance requirements, safety procedures, and environmental standards.
Does IMC offer hurricane haul-out and storage?
Yes. IMC offers a Hurricane Reservation Program and dry-storage options intended to help owners prepare vessels for approaching tropical weather.
Should I arrange hurricane storage in advance?
Early planning is strongly recommended because storm-related haul-out activity can increase quickly. Availability, eligibility, deadlines, and placement are governed by IMC's current hurricane program and agreements.
What information will IMC need for hurricane planning?
Be prepared to provide accurate vessel length, beam, draft, vertical clearance, hull material, owner and captain contacts, insurance information if required, and any special blocking, access, or preparation needs.
